Chris Christie grew balls today

No balls required.
They have history together. They've worked closely together. They've gotten drunk together.
It's called don't throw you friends under the bus.

if you dont throw your friends under the bus it means you do have balls.

and christie has been a whiny cowardly little bitch for some time.

Amazing how once the ball got rolling on Cuomo's ongoing fall from grace, what was an issue about hiding Covid data also became an issue about sexual harassment, seemingly coming out of nowhere, like a swarm of sharks gathering together on a trail of blood, waiting for one of them to commit a first strike and then all the others simultaneously pouncing on their hapless victim, with more and more sharks joining the feast.

The only way Coumo's enemies could have done any better at sinking Cuomo's ship of state would've been if it had been a conspiracy.

I disagree.
There is no political risk for Christie. Supporting Cuopmo is politically easy. It's professionally low impact.
Considering his party and Christies own background there is more benefit to pump the "wait for the investigation" statements (and let the story die out a little bit). No worries about being called a hypocrite next time he or his fellow party members fuck up publicly.

No, the easy thing is to blindly go along with whatever your party says. I know that because its what most republicans do on a regular basis. Including Christie, up until yesterday.
The hard thing is to think for yourself, its also the less frequent choice.

Practically speaking a genuine deeper look into Cuomo's behavior and potential illegal actions isn't likely to reveal anything good. It's like delivering a backhoe to the cemetery on suspicion there could be bodies buried there. Of course there are.

I've never really understood that expression. It's pretty hard to 'throw' a person, friend or otherwise, and why a bus, in particular? I could probably throw a cat in front of a lorry (sorry..."truck"), were I so cruel as to do so, but I doubt I could throw any of my friends very far at all, and probably couldn't aim them under a bus (which sits pretty low to the ground).

attacking someone is not the same as throwing them under the bus.
when you have the power to push your guilt or culpability on to them, then you can throw them under the bus.

Christie is just a loud mouthed douche face. he doesnt actually have too much real power.

Why not just post this in the current Cuomo thread? Is this really THAT news worthy for its own thread?
And by the way, Polls say 58% of New Yorkers want Cuomo to stay. I think he should stay.

If you have to ask, you probably won't know the difference.

Yes, the shitty self-centered self-absorbed governor of Jersey finally growing balls is in fact news-worthy all by itself.

By the way.... did he EVER admit to closing that bridge during his tenure as governor? That alone reduces him to less than a teeny tiny worm. A really fat worm at that, but still a worm.
