Stop reading what isn't there. What I said was accurate, the defense was going to put up a witness who was a convicted felon (not the defendant, who I believe may have had a criminal record as well). That's what the questioning was about.

Also, from what they inferred by the questioning, they pretty much had the guy on video and he ran from the cops.

it was accurate in the context you just gave but was neither accurate or specific in the original text, which would have helped

would your opinion be any different if the convicted felon was a state's witness and not a defendant's witness?

I was the foreman on a jury for a medical malpractice case. It lasted 6 days and actually was a lot of fun

My father was sequestered as a juror when I was around 10. The trial went for over a week. It honestly felt like much longer as a kid, and it is hard now to actually remember how long he was away. It was a very high profile case in the area, which combined with the length was why they were sequestered. Guy slashed the throats of his wife and kids. One of them lived through it and testified at the trial.

Exactly the type of trial you do not want to have to sit on the jury for. The kind that takes you away from life for a significant amount of time and quite frankly psychologically fucks you up.

My wife was on a malpractice case last year that lasted 2 weeks. I would like to say I was shocked at how horribly it was reported in the local paper but I cannot. The bias was amazing. The reporter simply stated the plaintiff’s claims as fact and called the jurors stupid for not giving the lady a payday.

Anyway, was interesting to hear how things worked since I have never been called myself (knocks on wood).

i got kicked off a jury where the defendant was accused of administering surprise buttsex.
