Choosing Cellphones

Guys have any suggestions to a good bluetooth ready cellphone with I guess camera phone options? The two phones that I know about and have narrowed it down to is the motorola razr 3 and the MPX220. If I get the razr 3/mpx220, I want to make sure it's unlocked because I don't want to have a 2 year cingualar contract.. If anyone has one of these razrs, did you get an unlocked one? If so, please tell me how you got it..

Two completely different markets for those two phones but whatever.

Have you held a Razr? Nice specs but they are WIDE.

Wide as in uncomfortable to hold with one hand & thumb dial (and I don't have small hands).

Viper GTS

No I've not actually held a razr. I will not get a palm based phone especially the treo because of the fact I didn't have great experience with palm (have a palm VII lying around which I won in a contest). I want a Windows 2003 mobile based phone because of the flexibility. Any reccomendations on windows 2003 mobile based phones with bluetooth? (Besides the one I mentioned)

I really enjoy my V3 razor. Bought it off eBay. It was unlocked Cingular branded. I flexed the software to a standard Motorola flex and now have a unlocked unbranded V3 Razor I'm using with T-Mobile. I don't think it's flimsy at all. Excellent quality and vivid colors with the big display.

You might check out the V600 or V620 or V635 Bluetooth lines.

Check here: Motomodders.net for insight on these types of cell phones and lots of good info as well.

Take your time and read up on the phones you're looking at.

the Motorola E815 is out soon. I'm gonna go with that when it comes out. Verizon Wireless will be the provider unless you unock it.

Ok I guess I've actually narrowed it down to the Audiovox 5600 SMT or the Motorola MPX220. Which phone would you choose? Also could anyone tell me if it's possible for these two phones to be hooked up to my laptop with bluetooth and be used as a modem to get online? Does one phone do this better than the other? While I really want a good phone with a good screen etc, a key feature in deciding which phone I want has to do with whether or not I will be able to get my laptop online with the phone with bluetooth. I've heard some people have had problems in doing this but I would like to know if there has been better success with one phone over another...

I use the V551 and it's been great so far.

Good Camera, EDGE, and bluetooth. The reception has been great on the Cingular network with it.

Yeah.. they have return policies in which you can cancel everything. I suggest looking at Amazon, they generally have better deals than most retailers.
