choosing boot device

I have 3 SCSI cards in my server.
1 is a Adaptec UW160 controller
1 is ATA RAID card
1 is a SATA add-in

I want to boot from the Adaptec card but it is defaulting to the SATA. I have SCSI chosen in bios, but that doesnt really help obviously... is it just the order the cards are in their PCI slots from top to bottom?

I cant stop it.
Anyone?

At the root of it, that would be a motherboard issue. What motherboard does it have?

tossed UW160 card into top PCI slot... its now the primary boot device. Works fine now thanks
