Choosing between girls...

me: 25

girl 1 backstory: 21, going into her senior year at college. met her at a party 2 summers ago. she took a liking to me and we ended up messing around a little bit throughout the summer. things fizzled out when she went back to school only to be revived a bit over her winter vacation. until last month, i hadn't hung out with her for a year and a half.

girl 2 backstory: 25, in grad school. she's the new roomate of an old friend. met her a couple months ago.

in early july i was talking w/girl 1 about going to a show that a friend was playing. she got stuck at work late and said that she'd see me at the show if she can make it. then i got a call from girl 2. she'd just moved in that night and didn't know anyone in town aside from me, though we'd only met once). she asked if she could hang out so i offered to take her to the show. it turned out that girl 1 did make it to the show, but i figured that was no problem because nothing had gone on between us for over a year.

anyway, i got an inkling throughout the night that girl 2 had some interest in me. apparently girl 1 had the same impression, because she texted me to say that she was "extemely jealous". huh.

long story short, the following night girl 1 was all over me. for the next ~month, we hung out 3-4 nights a week. the fact that she's heading back to school at the end of august has been in the back of our heads, however. neither of us think it's a terribly good idea to do a long distance thing. that's kept our "status" in limbo, which is something i'm not really used to - i'm typically in or out of a relationship.

in the meanwhile, girl 2 had been calling to hang out pretty frequently. i bailed on her most of the time, but did hang out on a number of occasions. i never let things get too flirty (stupid conscience), but i didn't want to burn any bridges either, assuming that things would once again fizzle with girl 1. eventually 2's advances were too obvious for me to continue playing stupid, so i told her that i'd sorta been seeing girl 1. she was cool with it and said, "oh well, bad timing".

then some family stuff went down for girl 1. she spent a fair amount of time out of town and when she was in town, she caught up with friends that she'd been ignoring during the summer in favor of me. i was kinda put out, but tried to be understanding considering the family issues. we hung out once last week before she left for a weeklong vacation, which she returns from this saturday.

this past weekend i promised to make dinner for girl 2 and her roomate. roomate bailed, so it turned into girl 2 and me. uh oh. after resisting her for a few hours she apparently had enough and dragged me up to my bedroom.

that's pretty much where i am now. i don't know where girl 1 thinks things are going and i won't until she gets back from vacation. i feel pretty sh!tty that i messed around with girl 2, despite the fact that girl 1 and i have never spoken of exclusivity. it only makes sense for me to can things with girl 1 and continue on with girl 2...

but i have to admit that i still have interest in girl 1. i don't know if i'll have a clear conscience when i see her again, though. should i? and why the hell am i leaning towards a girl who'll be living 2.5 hours away from me starting in a couple weeks? is it just that she's been a carrot dangled in front of me for 2 years, or do i actually really want something more with her? bleh.

...and to address the pending request for pics: nope. i guess i'll offer descriptions, though.

girl 1: 5'9" blonde, blue eyes, slender, super sweet girl, lifeguards during the summer
girl 2: 5'2" latina, brunette, petite, damn smart, was a cheerleader back in the day

unfortunately i find them equally attractive, so i can't even be a shallow d!ck and choose the hotter one.

Older women ftw. And the older one is smarter? Seems like an easy choice to me. I'll reread your thread and give more feedback.

Yeah definately girl 2. Girl one just seems like she is turned on that other women are with you. Pretty typical IMO.

Girl Number 2. Forget about feeling guilty over girl #1...that sh|t isn't going anywhere serious if it hasn't already. Time to take a new bike out for a ride.

This has numerous applicable meanings, but ultimately is also my advice and the advice I myself recently took in a barely similar situation that also involved picking among a choice of women...

One in the hand is worth two in the bush...

2 girls = 4 hands?

Invite girl 1 over for a sexy evening. Then invite girl 2 over. You either get both, or girl 2 will leave and you can say to girl 1 that you just wanted to make her jealous cause you know it turns her on.

Yes, 2 hands causing slaps in the face and then you are left by yourself and your two hands to romance you.

😕 😕 😕

I say choose the one that's less appealing. That way you have better chances that she will stick around. If you pick the better one now, odds are she will leave you later once she finds a man more suited to her class.
