Are there any articles out on performance of flash drives and Vista? I'm looking to purchase a new 2-4gb usb flash drive and I'd like it to be 'good' enough to handle readyboost if I decide to switch to Vista in the future. u3 seems to be a net negative... Any suggestions or links out there? Thanks in advance!

Just did a little research into that area myself.

I think the Corsair and Corsair survival range were the fastest r/w.
Gonna wait a few weeks though.

I did the same with a 4GB drive last year - 2 months later, they were less than half price.
pah.

you also want one with the fastest access time, many usb sticks have almost instant access times while many others are just as bad as hard drives, compeltely defeating the purpose of having readyboost in the first place. Check my link for the best sticks, they keep rankings in terms of access time and read/write speed. http://www.techpowerup.com/rev...ata/PD18_Flash_Drive/3

The Corsair Flash Voyager GT is smoking fast. Make sure you get the GT variant!
