Here is what I currently have:
QX6850 cooled by AC 7
4gb Corsair memory ddr 800
P5N-E SLI 650i nvidia chipset
BFG 8800GT
2 DVD drives - rw and rom
I have been getting a few blue screen errors when in 64 bit vista and I believe it may be due to this chipset since all the errors keep pointing to nvidia drivers
After looking through the mobo guide I am wracked on between 3 choices:
ASUS P5Q LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-EP45-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS RAMPAGE FORMULA LGA 775 Intel X48 ATX
I guess I am looking for advice - considering that the new processors will use a new socket I feel like the Rampage may be overkill but perhaps there is something that it has that I don't know about that may make it worth it.
Any input would be greatly appreciated, I do intend to go 64-bit so if someone knows about some sort of stability issue it would be great to help eliminate one of these.
