The Enermax is quite nice, but the Lian-Li cases are pretty nice too.

Hard drives mount vertical in a removable tray.

Thanks,
but the case looks expensive.
My budget is around 40- 50 dollars.
Any good ones in that range?
Thanks.

Hello,
What do you think of this case?
Codegen----CG 6055L-C10 ATX Mid Tower CAse w/300W P4 Ready Power,Front USB &Audio

Is there a big difference between 300w and 350 or 400w...
Here it says P4 ready..What about AMD?
I saw this on Pricewatch---

Nice case. I've built 2 of the CODEGEN 6044 case series, and it's the same box structure, the only change is the
face bezel is different. They work nicely. If you get the 6055 you won't regret it - it'll be fine.

But what about the watts? 300 watt or 350 or higher---Does that make any difference?
Which one will be better?
I see that there is about $50 difference between 300 and 350 watt...
What about the power supply? Do I need that also? If so can u recommend?

Well I guess the power supply comes with it...
But is it worth to buy higher that 300W?
Also most of these cases says P4 ready, but what about AMD? Does it work with it?
I have AMD xp 1600+ and abit kx7 motherboard

all the Power supplys work with AMD and P4.....i would go for a GOOD 300w or an ok 350w depends on how much you are running in it. i.e how many HDD's CD-Roms/CDRW's/DVD-roms Case fans (allthough these do not really matter) and so on

You should be able to find a decent case for around $ 50 with a 350 Watt ppwer supply, look for an ATX mid-tower, and try to find one on a 'Special' that will ship freight free or at least under $20 for freight. Somtimes there are specials on cases that do not include the power supply.

Power wise, 250W will not be enough for todays requirements, 300W is just enough, & 350 will give you a cushion if there is any high power peaks you run in to.

Any P-4 ready case will support the AMD CPU, as the P-4's need an extra connector.

Check out the specials at S V C

Thanks guys,
By the way I am looking for a black case, and even went to local stores but didn't find the one that I like.
There were many charcoal grey ones but I wasn't sure ho wit would look with my black CDRW and black floppy drive.
Any suggestions or anyone on the same boat..

This CODEGEN is a nice case, good room inside, Black case.
NewEgg has it for $ 47 plus $ 10 freight, thats $ 57 total and it has a 350W power supply in it.

Except for the color, it is identical to 2 cases I used to build systems for some friends. ( And they are still friends )
