Good review IMO. I switched to authy this year, much more robust that google authenticator.

I just started using google authenticator with my NAS, as it is the only 2FA that works with it. Google needs to update theirs.

Yes, I agree. Authy is very good!

Google really needs to overhaul their app. I used it before, but it is quite bare bones IMO.
They may have done it already but I think that all authenticator apps need to have a backup feature so that you can restore all of your info when getting a new device instead of having to re-enroll all of your websites.
