...my tiny condo lacks counter space.

Yikes. The Black & Decker and Bunn are both exactly 7" wide, but the Bunn is 7" deeper. Bummer...

There is only one! Just ask your local cafe, donut shop or favorite restaurant.

We just purchased our third, since 1978. Brews 10 cups of perfect coffee in just 3 minutes.

It can do as few as one or two cups even quicker!

I'm sure it's great, but my tiny condo lacks counter space.

big coffee makers are generally bad at making single cups unless they have the setting. grounds basket is not designed for it anyways.

2 cups (16oz) is effortless and perfect. For less than that, they also make a cutsie coffeemaker., but it seems like a waste to me!

I guess I could get something is makes more than one cup, but I need it to be compact. I wanted to keep my kitchen counter as clutter free as possible. Feel free to make suggestions other than the one listed. I'd actually rather have a white one rather than those black ones too ( my kitchen is birch and white color.

roll your eyes all you want, most 12cuppers will not make a good single or double cup without a single cup setting. its why they have to resort to such a setting option. you are stupid for suggesting a hundred dollar coffee maker when he's obviously choosing from 20 dollar machines.

That's true. turns some of the larger capacity coffee makers aren't that much bigger. Anyone know of a site that has a chart or something that shows the sizes of coffee makers?

I've been using that B&D one for about 8 years now. Actually the first one died... well not really died but I hate that whole "clean with vinegar solution" thing so I just tossed it. Makes decent coffee.

If the B&D is higher than 600W get that, the higher the wattage on a coffee maker, the hotter it will get the water, and the hotter the water the better tasting the coffee.

I OWN one, and my wife's the only one who drinks coffee here. Two perfect cups at a time are made DAILY!

Comes in pretty damn handy when company comes over. They last better than ten years. How many two bit coffee makers are you geniuses going to go through in ten years, and WTF are you going to do when more than one person wants a cup, dimwit?

Try looking into the GEVALIA. They almost always offer a free maker and carafe for trying the coffee. Now you get a good carafe that stays hot quite well for nothing.

I can't recommend a press plunger enough. They make the best cup of coffee, are often quicker than a drip style and are cheap.
