Choose between these PSU's

THe two FSP's have dual 12v rails. The 400 watt has a 16 amp plus an 18 amp. The 450 watt has dual 18 amp 12 volt rails. Perfect for dual core and mid range SLI setup.

If you got the 450 with dual 18 amp 12 volt rails it wold easily run two mid range video cards and adual core processor. I suspect the 400 watt version would too.

I have an enermax 535 watt with dual 18 amp 12 volt rails and I run the follow with it:

AMD 4800+ 2.4 dual corre Oc'd 2.5
Evga 7800Gt x 2 SLI
Asus A8N32-SLI PCI express 16 x 2 socket 939
Crucial Ballistic 512 x 4 PC4000 at 400+ MHZ.
WD 250 SATA x 2
2 optical drives and floppy
Zakman 9500LED HSF
numerous case fans

No problem!

So this non-AX series fortron is a lot better than this AX fortron even though the AX series has more watts?

Yes, the AX is FSP's budget line. The XClio 450BL 450W is a solid Channel Well unit, and would power that system just fine. If you'd like better quality, the XClio Stablepower 460W ($50) is made by Enhance, and would also be a good choice. If you can spare the extra $14+, go for the Enhance 5150G 500W from eWiz instead... more headroom for future expansion and good quality.
