Choose a soundcard : Audigy2 vs DMX 6fire

Audigy2 Platinum eX or Terratec DMX 6fire 24/96?

for what? games? id pick audigy2

for anything else... id probably go with m-audio

For everything, i`d personally pick the Audigy2.

I'd say it definitely depends on your use, but in general the Audigy is superior for gaming and DVDs, Terratec for music and digital receiver connection. What's your sound system, how would you use the cards? Those are the questions. I run an Audigy OEM and am very happy with the purchase for $70. The card I really want hasn't been made yet.

well.. my friend is selling his 6fire and I found a store sell used Audigy2 Platinum (not eX, sorry)
I play games and also record music, but seems I'll get the Audigy2 instead....

You should be aware of the fact that you can get audigy 2 platinium retail new at bestbuy for 130. Price match it to staples to get it for 120.
