I think they did, and that's the point of filming it.. But also looks kinda stupid?
Yeah, looking closer the second time at least some of them were bracing for it, and wanted it on film. I think the better view would be a bit farther back, filming all the people by the tracks getting blasted with the snow. But maybe that's just me, and since I never get to see snow here the idea of getting blasted with it doesn't seem very appealing. 🙂

Yep…which is why the video shows no aftermath. It would have been clear from peoples reactions that it was intentional.

EDIT: it appears I am wrong at least if this report is taken at face value.

And you should be able to figure out what happens when a train approaches a bunch of snow on the tracks. What did you think was going to happen?
