Choice Between Two Boards

I'm putting a new computer together and I wanted to get some opinions from you about which motherboard I should choose. The computer will be running an Intel i7 920 with 6GB DDR3 RAM and a GeForce GTX 275. It's likely that I will use SLI and OC in the future, and this computer will primarily be used for gaming.

My choices are:
Gigabyte EX58-UD4P
ASUS P6T Deluxe V2

Please tell me which you think I should choose and why. Thank you.

These two boards are very similar in features, quality and reputation. Good boards. Pick whichever one is more appealing to you based on anything you want. Seriously, it doesn't matter much, they will both perform equally. Maybe you like some of the ASUS exclusive features like XpressGate which could decide it for you.

So is there really nothing much that distinguishes one board from the other apart from price and the extra LAN? I mean, is the P6T really worth the extra money?

Depends if the ASUS stuff is worth it to you. Personally if I hadn't gotten the Rampage II Extreme for quite a bit more money I'd have gone with a Gigabyte motherboard, so in this case, if I was a new buyer, I'd go with the Gigabyte.

The P6T Deluxe has a very good reputation and lots of people have it; it overclocks pretty well but so does the Gigabyte.

Today is your lucky day, i had the same two choices and while the ASUS has better audio, the Gigabyte has more sata ports and i didnt care about having one LAN. I went with the Gigabyte, but it showed up DOA--many of these boards are going out dead. Also, if you plan to OC the Gigabyte runs cooler.
