Chkdsk for RAID?

Anyone know a tool that can be used to scan a raid-0 hard disk?

i know that chkdsk should never be used. I'm trying to do a defrag with Diskeeper and it will not let me until the drive has been checked with CHKDSK (schedule for boot however i have disabled it).

thanks.

btw.. i have 2 500GB drives in raid0

Why can't you use CHKDSK? Does it kill your data, give errors, or what? I'm just curious because I've never heard that before...

I've been having the same problem with my RAID-0. I can't seem to run chkdsk. I'm sure both my drives are super healthy since I only got them a few weeks ago. Even when I ran my other disk and took a look at the drive's SMART info in Windows (didn't format them in any way or partition here) they looked great.

Here's my hardware:
P5B-DX
2: WD 160GB 2.5" SATA HDD (RAID-0)
Intel Matrix Storage for RAID

I've tried running chkdsk in O&O Defrag Pro 10 but it doesn't work. It keeps on giving me an error near the beginning. Can anyone help me with this? Windows and everything boots okay. I'm backup everything tonight since I'm getting pretty worried.

Also another weird thing is that, almost once a day I can't empty my recycle bin. It gives me an error Dc16 Access Denied or something. If I log off and log back in to Windows it works fine again. Am I already starting to have problems with my drives?

EDIT: OP how did you get chkdsk to run for you eventually?
