Product Information: 3X HCG - 30X L-Carnitine - 30X Arginine - VIT B12
Ah, so there's a slight chance that it might contain several molecules of something other than just filler material.

Currently there are no known established clinical side effects to homeopathic remedies and medicines but as with any diet we recommend that you consult with a doctor before starting this diet and if you have any swelling, shortness of breath, dizziness or heavy redness consult a doctor or medical professional immediately.
No side effects, imagine that.:D
(Psychological effects though, sure. But placebos will do that.)

Key word: "homeopathic"

I've seen this linked from someone on here that is a Chiropractor. Thoughts?

Money making scam, or the real deal?

A do computer work for a guy on something similar, his doctor put him on it. He loses about 2lb a day while on it. But can only be on a for a month. I saw the difference with my own eyes, it cannot be healthy, and I'm sure he'll put the weight back on in no time. But he looked like a different person last time I saw him. Zero exercise. It might be the same stuff you linked to, when I see him tomorrow I'll ask for the name. It's a little dropper and he puts 10 drops in his mouth 4 times a day.

Well, from the looks of this one, it's just a low-calorie diet, along with some magical, useless, expensive liquid.

From the site's FAQ:
The HCG diet is very low calorie, will I get hungry?
Hmm, so you're on a very low calorie diet, along with some liquid that makes you think it's doing something, and you lose weight? Wow, I'm astonished.
What happens once the placebo effect of the super magic liquid wears off though?

That's what he's doing, low cal eating + this liquid for 30 days. It's been 3 weeks and he's dropped a hair over 30 pounds. No way in hell just eating a lot less calories will result in 30lbs in 24 days. After 30 days he's screwed when the doc takes him off it. I don't care if a doctor said I should get on it, anything that has you dropping 45lb's in a month would scare the shit out of me.

There are people using HCG to lose what which is controversial but "homeopathic hcg" basically means that they are using highly diluted HCG, so much so that it is only there in trace amounts, if at all. Any true benefits of the HCG is gone. HCG is the chemical that typical urine pregnancy tests detect. I had to look around but it looks like these tests can detect down to 20 mIU/ml. mIU = milli-international units which is annoying unit but apparently for HCG that's equivalent to 1500 mIU per milligram. That means that pregnancy tests can measure down to concentrations of 13.3 micro-grams per milliliter of liquid, a ridiculously low amount. Yet, all these websites say that the HCG in their treatments are so low if you apply the treatment directly to a pregnancy test it won't test positive. Somehow they still think a few drops under your tongue of this incredibly diluted substance is enough to make you lose weight.

Also, if you take a look at what they tell you to do besides take the homeopathic "remedy" with the hyper diluted hcg you'll see that they recommend a very low calorie diet, often well below 1000 calories per day. If people are losing weight from this method I would bet that it's because of the low calorie diet, not the "remedy".

I have no real input but I noticed that they put L-Carnitine into those Fuze "Slenderize" drinks. I was wondering where the "slenderize" part came from, that probably contributes to it.

Losing 30-45 lbs in 30 days is actually doable for some people.
If you are very overweight, say 275 pounds at 6 foot, just going on a crash diet can lower your weight 10-15 pounds as you pee out your excess water. Also, at 275 pounds you use 3300 calories just sitting around. On a 900 calorie diet thats 2400 calories a day you would lose. That's a tad over 2/3 of a pound. In 30 days you would have lost about 21 pounds in weight plus the up to 15 pounds(or more) in water.
And if you did any excerise at all you would lose 40 or more pounds.

Careful what you're reading. I dont think this has anything to do with chiropractics. Hcg is a hormone in the body. It get produced in abundance during pregnancy etc. Looking at the literature there doesnt seem to be any solid evidence suggesting this thing works during the longterm and the lack of long term studies makes it really sketchy to just try.

Just the fact that they mention the word "Homeopathic" means this specific product is garbage

From a page linked above:

My name is Dr. Jason Strotheide; I am President & CEO – Strotheide Chiropractic and a full-time practicing Chiropractor with two clinics.

I decided to find a US based manufacturer who only uses the best US based ingredients to manufacture the ChiroHCG Weight Loss Formula, and begin offering this phenomenal product to my patients and the public.

Sounds like a chiropractor is pushing the junk to me.

Maybe EITS can shed some light on this, he is advertising it on his website.

I tracked down his website (I assume it's the one he used to have in his sig), he has this exact weight loss program listed under his specials.

It seems like this program is meant to be performed by chiropractors. It seems the definition of "doctor" in their doctor supervised weight loss program is very loose.

I think I'll start a homeopathic restaurant.

Want a soda? Ok, I'll be sure to make it a 30X mixture. Enjoy your molecule of corn syrup with your water.
Coming up: a steak. It'll just be a popsicle stick, dipped in some 15X steak solution, but it's really good, because the wood in the stick will "remember" its exposure to the steak, so you'll get the same flavor, just without the calories.

Awesome! It sounds like it would be a great way to meet the low calorie diet for this amazing weight loss program! :awe:

You could just serve normal food though and marinade it in a 25x celery solution. It takes more calories to digest celery than you get out of it so if you soak everything down in that celery solution it will infuse the calorie burning properties into the rest of it. Eat deep fried cheescake and still lose weight!

It's sad some actually believes in this kind of bullshit but then again dumb people don't realize they are dumb.
