However, I still don't understand the rationale for Gigagbyte's having 6 memory slots, split 2/4, on its D/C 8KNXP. With all the Corsair matching pairs marketing hype, I recall being mildly concerned recently about mixing 3 Newegg HyperX's with 1 from GG that may have come from a different litter. Why 2/4?
