Chipset Intel 975

I plan on getting a mobo with Intel 975x chipset, however, I would like to stay with DDR400 and use quick timing instead of using DDR2.
My question is : does the 975 accommodate DDR400 or only DDR2 ?

only the 915G and 915P accommodate DDR1 and DDR2 .
all other Including 945G , 945P , 925XE , 955X and 975X support only DDR2 .
