Can the fan used on some MoBos to cool the VIA chipset be easily replaced?

If you are not overclocking and running high FSB's, a fan is not really needed. However, if you really want a new fan, any standard 40mm fan should work fine.

If you do get a fan, try to get a ball bearing fan. The only non-ball bearing fans I've had good luck with are Panaflo's hydro-wave bearing fans. Regular sleeve bearing fans always seem to die on me, especially the ~40mm ones.
