Well, the chipset fan is really dead on my A8N this time and I need to replace it with something else. Which one should I grab to replace it? I was thinking about the Zalman NB47, but am afraid the chipset may get too hot if I put it on there without active cooling. I was also looking at the Vantec Iceberg Copper HSF. I have used it before and it really seemed to work on my NF7-S.

I'd appreciate any input! Thanks.

If you O/C, I would stick with active cooling. The people I've seen successfully O/C with the Zalman mounted a fan blowing directly on it.

I've been thinking about replacing that little whinner myself. Here's what I've looked at so far

Vantec Iceberg

Swiftech MCX-159R

I have also seen people reporting that they keep the stock heatsink and replaced the fan with a larger quieter model.
