Chipset and Bios Versions, how do i know what i have?

Where do I go in WinXP to see what my current Bios and Chipset version is? Or do I do this in the bios? Thx

At boot usually the 1st thing you see is the video cards BIOS revison and information
After that the main scrren appears.
At the bottom left of your screen on most BIOS's the BIOS revision will be listed there.
To stop and actually read it just hit the "pause" button on your keyboard.
That will stop the boot sequence allowing you to copy or read the BIOS revision.

On MSI's website it says i shouldn't update if everything is fine....should i still update even though everything is fine?

Most BIOS's only fix things that have been causing problems for users, however there are BIOS's out there for some motherboards that provide a greater flexibility in playing with performance.
If you are happy with your current system and have no problems, I wouldn't update.
