It will probably be a lot louder than normal too, so do cover your ears. Some people seem to have the uncanny ability to amplify all unpleasant noises emanating from their mouth.
Dogs chew with their mouths open. People shouldn't sound as disgusting as them. The way some people chew, I'm amazed that food isn't constantly flying all over the place.

That's it! It is hyperacusis what happens to me sometimes but not always. I get annoyed by gum chewers all the time, but breathing and other sounds like eating chips don't bother me. So this makes me a hybrid right?

A friend of mine chewed with his mouth open all the time. Totally sucked
listening to him eat. Never had the guts to mention how distasteful that was, but i didn't chicken out of telling him that he stunk my living room up so bad that he either take a shower or GTFO. In fact I had to throw a couch out because of the stink he left on it.
