Chipped off a piece of the memory holder

I kinda tried to jam my memory stick into the motherboard and the white piece kinda peeled off on the corner.
What's worst is the white thing that attaches to the side of the memory itself broke off (on one side).

So, i checked the system information for the system and only 64 meg is registered. It seems the other 64 is probably
loose or something. I'll check tomorrow once I get into the office.

Having said this, can I just move everything over to bank 1 and 2. Right now there are memory sticks in banks 0 and 1.

If its still under warranty... go get it fixed because some other time down the road you amy want to use all 3 slots and then not be able to...

I don' think thats neccesary ( Considering he said 64 meg sticks )

I'm betting its an older box..

I don't think warrantys cover this sort of thing. They only cover defects in the product, not someone jamming a stick into the slot and breaking something.

I had a board that I did that to one time. If the memory is seated in there good you'll be fine, just don't move the board around a lot. Or you can move the memory to other banks as long as this board doesn't need the first slot filled.
