Chipotle is better than Qdoba. I'm sad that there's only Qdoba in N. Nevada. Qdoba isn't bad, but it's not Chipotle.

Also, for johnjohn320, Chipotle is McDonald's-owned and Qdoba is Jack-in-the-Box-owned.

Can't speak for Qdoba, but Chipotle is definitely not owned by McDonald's. McD's used to own significant Chipotle stock, but sold it completely off in '06. Besides, that wouldn't explain who founded them.

This is true. It used to be quite difficult for me to rationalize eating at Chipotle during the time they were affiliated with McD's.

And now I'm in the clear 🙂

also, carnitas at Chipotle is major win. better than any other meat, by a mile.

Touche- you are correct. McDonald's invested heavily in Chipotle but never was majority owner. I was not able to find any evidence that C and Q are linked, other than both debuting in Denver. They were started 3 years apart and nothing mentions Ells and Anthony Miller and being linked.

What's the best value at Chipotle ?

I went there recently and got steak soft tacos.
They were really good but didnt seem like $7 worth of food (3 tacos)
A 3 set is usally like $5 at a downtown authentic Mexican take out cantina

Also, can you get anything you want from their ingredients area for the base price?
I saw Guacamole, but on the menu board it said like $2 but wasnt sure if that was for a bowl you get with chips.

Anyways, for the chain type Chipotle style places, I like Moe's you get a free side of chips with anything.

i like them both the same, it just depends what i feel like eating that day.

the meat and salsa is flavored better at chipotle, but the queso and less salt at qdoba is also good.

just depends what i feel like that day.
