The MotF Bane fallacy is just because you can find the same argument with every touted improvement in efficiency, does not mean that its always false.

But cheer up, its the Chinese that are investing the big bucks in high speed rail and not the American taxpayer. If the overall Chinese economy wins as a result, it will be decades before the USA can say me too and can get the same benefits with a similar investment.

If the Chinese investment fails, MotF Bane can say, see I was right, just another boonedoggle.

Meanwhile the total MotF Bane delusion is that he has any voting rights in China,

We've become too efficient...
blah blah blah...

I don't know how this works on the scale of car manufacturers (I definitely think we should be keeping Toyota and Honda around, no small-business startup can provide that level of value to the market), but for other needs, we have to move to this model. IE true COMMUNE-ism. Won't work as long as we're driven by greed, gotta replace that desire with something more soul-satisfying. Am I making any sense?
No, no you are not (except for the "I don't know" part). You are making about as much sense as Anarchist420 on a bad day.
