Been having an issue lately where I'm playing a game (borderlands) and all of a sudden the game starts acting strange and I'm almost unable to control my character.

Then I notice a little window popping up in the lower right of the screen, I minimize and catch a quick glance at some weird Chinese text popup which I obviously don't understand. I was able to snap a picture of it this time:

The evidence

Usually it's a bigger window though with more lines of Chinese text. Not sure where the F this comes from but I uninstalled all programs I don't need and have run spybot and virus cans, and malware bytes. It seems like maybe some combination of keyboard keys brings up this pop up. Anyone see weird popups like this before and/or have any idea how to get rid of em? I suspect it's related to some drivers I have installed.

Only happens once every few days, not all the time.

that looks like chinese or japanese text input. it might not be a virus

well how can I get rid of it?

Here's what just happend to me in BF2 also, same kinda thing. Popup, won't go away, unable to controll my guy in-game because key inputs just go into this retarded box that popped up for no reason.:

motherfucking popup box

highlighting the green arrow said something like 'save input' but even if I clicked that it wouldn't go away.

Hey thanks, looks like that might be the problem. Now to read all 140 pages about how to disable it :p

actually wasn't too hard to find. Here's a pic of how to get rid of it if anyone else is having similar problems (which is very doubtful but owells) IME

Still not sure why that would cause those little weird popups in games. TF2, Borderlands, Battlefield 2 bad company just to name a few. IME interfered with all of them.

Because it usually takes common key to switch input methods, such as Ctrl+Space, which is common for FPS players to hit both keys simultaneously that'll cause the IME to switch from english to something else.
