I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this isn't typical of all Chinese drivers.

I 'm going to take some movies of the traffic in China next thing I go there. It's some crazy shizzo. There were people riding there bicycle on the damn Highway!!!

Crossing the street in China is like playing Froggers, no one will stop for you and no one obeys the street light or traffic. My girlfriend called me a wuss because I refused to cross the street and dodge cars.

What's up with the newscaster ? I mean it shouldn't take THAT long for her to say "here's a stupid F'n idiot who should be shot on sight."

BTW, I don't know how a vid like that qualifies that thread title. Have you any idea how many kids are run over in people's driveways all the time ? Granted, they don't usually move back and forth wondering if it was just little Timmy's toy truck underneath...

I was in Thailand a few weeks ago. I saw an entire family of 4 on a single motorcycle, without helmets. Maybe instead of just Chinese, it should be all Asians then ?

I don't believe they know what a "Driving License" is, or they just photoshop some cheap license to show they are licensed to drive.

I saw a family of 6 on a bicycle! No kidding, it was some crazy crap to see an entire family on the highway riding on one bicycle.

I actually took a bicycle as a taxi while in DongXing because it's hard to find a car as a taxi there and proud to say I didn't get kill.

i didn't get all of it, but it was pretty much narrative,

this guy in the white car, he backed up and hit a lady, and then drove back and forth some, and only at the end did he get out to see he hit someone, or something like that.

Maybe they really do know how to drive, and our mere mortal driving laws have not caught up to the pure, creamy perfection that is Chinese driving skill.

My company will not let us drive in China. The 40 minute cab ride to the airport in Pudong, Shanghai may have been the scariest 40 minutes in my life.

I think GM has the same rules for workers on travel there.
