Perhaps I am in the minority, but my primary instinct when presented with that particular situation would rank somwhat in the following order:

• Defend self.
• Look for weapon of any kind.
• Subdue attacker.
• Possible avenues of escape.
• ...
• Make attempt to use Jedi mind trick.
• Look for pants.
