If so, i've never found it. Sure you pay $6 for ALL YOU CAN EAT, and you get so full it feels like Orange Chicken is coming out of your ... but I prefer quality.

Any good Chinese BUFFETS in your area?

Nope. Sure there's shrimp and lots of seafood, but generally all buffets suck.

"Twin Dragon" Mongolian BBQ

All-you-can eat Mongo BBQ and Chinese Buffet...both are awesome.

A little spendy, $12.95, but worth it.

Only the expensive ones are good

if you want better food you have to go to a true restaurant and order plate by plate

I guess it could be confusing when an originally Japanese buffet gets taken over by Chinese (or was Todai taken over by Koreans). The menu looks nothing like it did when whey first opened.

There is another one by my house called Sumo - the Grand Champion of Buffets. I can't tell what kind of food this is supposed to represent but I'm happy to say i haven't gone there in over 10 years.

there is a tasty one in the metro-detroit area that we go to quite often. Its call Super China King Buffet.. its cheesy but there are always tons of people and the food is tasty, hot and fresh with a large selection!
i have to be very careful about where i go for chinese since i am really not good with MSG. i have not had a problem with this place!
most buffets are hit and miss though, no matter what kind of food is served!

"East Buffet" in NY (it's a chain) is pretty good considering, but it's pricey... $25pp depending on the day. It's not just take-out type food.

The best food in the world thrown onto a steamtable quickly becomes crap so by the nature of the concept there are no good Chinese buffet restuarants.

Yeah, thats pretty good. The one on El Camino (Palace BBQ? I forget) is pretty good as well. Well, its not really traditional chinese food, but way better.

And the last time I went to Todai it was $27 per person. Not really worth it if you ask me.

Todai is too expensive. I can go to Ariake and load up for a lot cheaper, plus select what I eat.

Crazy Buffet in Sunnyvale is OK. I really like that Super Buffet though, they have a HUGE selection and the food is actually pretty darn good. Expensive though...think I paid 13 bucks for lunch.

"DId you ever think when you eat chinese
It ain't pork or chicken but a fat siamese?
Yet the food tastes great so you don't complain
But that's not chicken in your chicken chow mein
Seems to me I ordered sweet and sour pork
But Garfield's on my fork
He's purrin' here on my fork

There's a cat in the kettle at the Peking Moon
The place that I eat every day at noon
They can feed you cat and you'll never know
Once they wrap it up in dough boys
They fry it real crisp in dough.

Chow Lin asked if I wanted more
As he was diallin' up his buddy at the old pet store
I said "Not today, I lost my appetite"
There's two cats in my belly and they want to fight.

I was suckin on a roll-aid and a tums or two
When I swear I heard it mew boy
And that is when I knew

There's a cat in the kettle at the Peking Moon
I think I gotta stop eating there at noon
They say that it's beef or fish or pork
But it's purrin there on my fork
There's a hairball on my fork"

Hong Kong City has a very decent buffet. I eat there a few times and it was always packed with customers.
