I agree with that. In wwi the munitions factory wasnt to the losing side's advantage and nazi Germany was also more advanced than every where else... they didn't win then either.

Neither Japan nor nazi Germany really wanted to fight America, while china would considering if we just push them a bit or attack Russia or Iran. Iran is the weakest and the least angry with the u.s. gov of the three, but the republic of china realizes that it needs the islamic republic of iran as does the state of Russia. Chinese people have higher T levels on avg so they're far more likely to do more to us without us doing anything near what we did to Japan ( or nazi Germany for that matter.)

America would be better off if the state didn't have as much tech. Too much tech in the hands of the american state will be the downfall of the American people. As you meant to say, American state is mighty against its own subjects, but it's not necessarily mighty against foreign states.

. It means that the FDR forced Japan into attacking pearl harbor... he did a lot to the Japanese to make it so it was no longer worthwhile for them to stand buy while FDR does shit to them. He went after Japan so hard because hitler wouldn't take the bait.. how much bait hitler was offered I don't exactly know, but I know that Japan was offered a lot of bait and their govt eventually determined it was worthit even though it wasn't. Long story short, the us gov shouldn't actually take actions try to piss China off because theyll bite a lot earlier... people with high testosterone levels snap earlier and easier than people without high testosterone levels. I think Iran will be the ones taking the bait, but it's not like we know that they aren't allies with china.

I don't think that anyone in the Chinese Navy thinks they'll ever use this ship to fight a war. The reason they bought a second hand Russian aircraft carrier is so that they can learn to operate one.

Carrier operations are an incredibly complicated business and you can't just learn how to do it from a textbook. You have to built up a certain amount of institutional knowledge and you can't do that without a ship to practice with. I once read an interesting comparison of the US and Japanese navies at the start of WW2. American ships were just as good if not better than the Japanese and so were our pilots, but what the USN lacked was the ability to operate multiple carriers together and launch big strikes of dozens to hundreds of aircraft at a time. It took years of practice and experimentation for them to get that down. That's what the Chinese want to do, learn how to use an aircraft carrier.

+1, from everything I have read, this carrier is just for training purposes and isn't very high on China's priority list. It's just a show piece, ballistic subs, ICBM, spy sat, drones etc, seems to be where they are concentrating R&D at. To be quite frankly, carrier aren't too useful to them when they have ICBMs that can deliver nuke payload to every South Asian country.

I wouldn't be too sure of that. Afghanistan thoroughly whipped the Soviets, a much more ruthless dictatorship committing much more in the way of military assets. We beat Afghanistan only by backing one group against the other; had we simply invaded the whole nation would have joined and kicked us out.

Ho Chi Min said "You will kill ten of us for every one of you we kill, and in the end you'll be the one who tires of it." He was correct. In the end, the population with the will, wins, as long as it is reasonably armed. The USA is highly armed, with shotguns (deadliest close combat weapon), pistols (highly concealable), and rifles that can reliably take down a man at four hundred yards, through military-grade body armor. Even with our inevitable quislings, an invader would have a difficult time pacifying America.
