Look here, I bet China has been able to hit the US for decades now. We are just finding it out now. And I would think Big Tex that in this case we would all be in this together or do you have no Patriotism?

what i dun really understand is this. it seems like the US is always preaching other countries to dissemble nuclear arms. i remember reading somewhere that the US has the largest nuclear arsenal in the world. by the way, if anywhere in my post i starting talking outta my arse, someone please correct me. now, back to my topic. so the US has the largest nuclear weapons collection in the world, yet they are always biotching to other countries "no, u have to dissemble ur nuclear weapons". so basically, is the US just saying that only they can have nuclear weapons and point it at other people when they feel the need to, or just as leverage against others? maybe i am interpreting this wrong. maybe the US is just a bunch of hypocrites. i'm not anti-US or anything, but its like the US is obviously so hypocritical. if i was another country like russia or china, i'd be thinking "WTF r u guys talking about, how do u justify ur huge nuclear arsenal?" i love the US and all, but geez...sometime i wonder what are we thinking (ie - our participation in korean war, vietnam war, middle east, etc). again, i'm prolly way off in some of my thoughts, so if someone could enlighten me on this, please do. i'd look it up, but i am too lazy.

spankyOO7 - the US is against nuclear proliferation. which is why we paid some of the former soviet states to disassemble their weapons. we were supposed to pay the n koreans to stop their arms program as well, not sure where that went. korean way was about partitioning the world after WWII, the north was supposed to have democratic elections and stalin said no or rigged them or whatnot. vietnam... well, the domino theory was big back then. kissinger finally figured out vietnam didn't matter. and the gulf war was about keeping oil to us flowing, and keeping iraq from becoming very powerful (selling both their and kuwait's oil would get them lots of cash to fight iran or the saudis or whoever they wanted) for israel... did you see the thread? its about jewish voters here.

the us is currently destroying 50% of its nuclear arsenal. lowering its missle arsenal of sub/landbase to about a thousand...


everyone in the political world tries to prevent other nations form getting nukes. when everyone has them any maniac can destroy the world. america made em to save europe's ass. and in the end they weren't even needed. then we had the cold war, wich obviously pushed our nuclear arsenal up in anticipation of a soviet bloc attack on western europe.




anyone who thinks that we should'nt try to limit a weapon that can destroy everyone on earth is mad. i don't see america ever launching nukes at tiwan... but could you see china doing it? or iraq? or the religous maniacs in afganistan?

the real theat of nuclear war i see now will be between pakistan and India.

the thing about nukes is that once u got them it dosen't matter how much you build up military. how rich you country is. or anything else.
eventually every country will have them, but we should try and prevent that for as long as possible, at least untill all the countries are more democratic. i don't really see china as ever using its nukes, and niether do american politicitions. the problem is the suicidal leaders who don't care if them or their country die as long as they hurt you.

Um... All the Cox report did was destroy US industry and allow companies in other countries to manufacture and exchange "forbidden" products with the Chinese.

Big deal, our own government is more dangerous to us than Red China is any day. At least they (the ChiComs)don't pretend to be on our side just so they can rip us off like Bushes Texas Puppeteers tried to do. One thing that I would never have guessed was that Bush was also controlled by Mexico's Presidante Vincente Fox. He obviously is Fox's little Bitch. LOL

Anyway, the way the ChiComs make Bush squeel like a little Pig when they want we here haven't a thing to worry about from the Reds.
