They're not house cats, they're civets, a type of weasel.

edit: and I can't believe people eat them... they're like a ferret or a mongoose.

It's still sad, but it looks like the Chinese gov't. thinks that SARS spread to humans because people eat these things.

Oh great...after they kill the cats they'll feed them to the healthy cats, then when people eat them, we'll have Mad Cat Disease. 😛

A group of extreme radicals intentionally harming humans and releasing biased propaganda in order to try and change our way of life to allow animals to live free and force humans to suffer as a result of it all?

I can't think of why anyone wouldn't like them.
