If things keep going the way they are going, maybe one day we will become the sweat shop workers?
Its never ceases to amazing me how everything makes a full circle, and the time of us gorging ourselves on the minds, spirits and souls of others is coming to an end.

I think I speak for all conservatives when I say, "why do you hate America?" The US will ALWAYS be the greatest country on Earth.

We're digging our own graves. We've already made China the world's factory, now we're making it the world's mega-store.

Hoorah for US corporations!

I doubt it. The US will probably always be a major force as it is also growing tremendously in size.

I'd say that many Europeans should be worrying more with their waning influence and populations.

No company has embraced China's potential more vigorously than Wal-Mart . Fishman notes: "A whopping portion of between 10% and 13% of everything China has sent to the U.S. winds up on Wal-Mart's shelves."
Crazy. Just crazy.

What's the big deal? During the 80's, the media was horrified at Japan's imminent takeover of the American economy. The same idiots now say China will take over.

Perhaps those geniuses can explain to me how China plans on sustaining its previous rate of economic development. I say previous because its already starting to taper off in the past couple years.

Psst.... the US is the greatest country on earth. And this is coming from someone who lived in China for half his life.

America is finished
We are entering the Age Of China PreEminence
Its over - and most of you dont have a clue of how totally over it is.
I have my own business with 25 employees, and I'm telling you this country is finished.
This is not theory, or guessing.
I know that nothing I do or say will change your illusions, but that wont change whats coming up.
And I have no inclination to argue with any professional no-life BB debaters here.
You either know, or you dont.
Its that simple.

HAHAHA. I've travelled far more than every US-hating leftist that tells real Americans to "go experience other cultures and perspectives".

By the way, I'm a Canadian citizen, born in Toronto. Also, Canada sucks.

Typical Canadian statement mentioned right after she said that she thinks the entire world should be like Canada.

according to UN stats the US is not the greatest country in the world
i think it ended up in 8th (very good, but not the best)
canada was 5th, the UK was 12
but the countries that got the top spots were finland, sweden, switzerland and norway

No it's switzerland trust me. Problem is they keep the riff-raff like me out by requireing 2M in the bank to immigrate or I'd move there a long time ago... Now I got to much crap here so I'm not as liquid but if I had to choose from birth it would be CZ.

Excuse me for pointing out your ignorance, but one of their bigger problems lately has been that their economy is growing too fast, not too slow.

All's not well in "GREAT" China. It faces a huge problem of the great ratio difference between boys and girls. Girls are not wanted by many in China and are aborted.

Also, it could face a problem of aging in the not too distant future.

Are you aware of any problem-free countries? If so, please tell me, because I don't know any.

These problems have the potential to bring a great country down.

Japan's rapidly aging population is one of the reasons behind it's decline.
