EVA air is the best one. it has 0 accidents i believe.

Air China (China) is actually far better (in terms of safety) than China Airlines (taiwan), which has probably had the worst record in ALL airlines for fatalities in the recent years.

I'm assuming there would be some way to share this connection, in which case I would just stand up and ask if anyone wants to split the bill for the 6 hour+ plan 😛

ahhaah.. true... thats the indian way 😉

eva air (or evergreen I think they're the same) is the airline of choice when my family goes to Taiwan (at least once a year for the past 6 years).

Same here. Taken China AIrlines once when I was 3, but I have been going United and sometimes Eva until about 5 years ago and then gone Eva ever since. Cheapest way there and if you upgrade to Deluxe, that owns biz class prices =P

China Airlines? Isn't that the crappy one?
yes if its the taiwanese company. they=the suX0rs
Yes, listen to the guy who isn't even sure which country the airline originates from...

I believe the "crappy" one you might be referring to is Air China... although it's tough for me to call any of the Asian airlines crappy relative to the US carriers. Fly United or Northwest to Asia and see if there's a difference.

I do think it's unfair to compare airlines to Cathay Pacific... seeing as how they're the best.

Northwest to Asia BLOWS. GAH. United was good...now not so good, but not too horrid.

China Air is reasonable...at least you get more food & more room than on US international flights. SIA is great...never flown MAS...Cathay was also awesome.

The 3 combined = SUCKAGE MAJORLY.

CHina Airlines = Ehh ok. It's cheap. Come on. Who wants to pay $900 for a plane ticket on United when you can get a flight to Taiwan for $700 on China Airlines. Now they have good food. United has JUNK. I fly to Taiwan every year and I've flown United 3 times, China once, and Eva Air about 10 times.

Eva is the way to go to Taiwan. Upgrade to Evergreen Deluxe, which is between Economy and Business and you get really nice seats + service + food all for $1200 - $1300. Beats the crap out of business class. And if you're one of those guys who travel to India, why pay for Singapore Airlines? Just take Eva and fly to HK and then transfer.... ALL FOR A LOWER PRICE.

agree about eva, bigger seats is nice on the delux class 😀
