China Air unscheduled stop

lol...but if you check news archives chinese airlines has had numerous plane crash incidents... and China Air has one major crash at least in Korea

what airline should I flew while inside China? I'm taking Cathay Airline to Hong Kong, but which airline to use flying inside China since American airline don't operate?

man those blades looked shabby..... and ive seen what happens when little bits of blade disappear down the rest of the turbine... its fun to watch a turbine eventually destroy itself, but that was in a lab/test cell... you dont want it to happen in the air!

also see what happens when the timing goes tits up on a F1 engine at 16,000 rpm..... valve manage to punch its way all the way through the cylinder head!

Yea - it's not so much the condition of that fan. It's that all those missing pieces went back through the rest of the really important bit - along with whatever hit that fan to begin with.

Hmm... China Air has cheap tickets... Now we know why!

😉

Well I live in country that was under communist rule for 41 years so I expect such things in China😉 btw Nuke wouldn´t do as much damage as communists managed to cause here:|

Funny, Air Madagascar was actually pretty nice. It's sad when the African carriers are better than you, Air China😛

China Airlines is a Taiwanese carrier, not a "Chinese carrier... from China" as the guy states in the article.

It's a little like suggesting the this article is about Cathay Pacific (a Hong Kong-based airline)... although Hong Kong is part of China now, right?

Air China is a Chinese carrier from China.

China Air has a colorful history at my own airport (PANC). Last year, one of their 747's took off on a taxiway. It came so close to crashing due to running out of room, that the snowberm at the end of the field had tire divots punched out from where the main gear dragged through as it lifted off.

A year before, they did the same thing but on a different taxiway.

And every time it's sufficiently windy, the other carriers seem to land just fine but China Air tends to have a lot of go-arounds. What's with those pilots anyway?
