Children With Special Needs Software

Ok gang,
I've been contacted and asked to help out so let me see if I can get this right.

What I'm looking for is FREE software to assist in a childs development.

The child has special needs and from what I can gather here is whats going on.

Perhaps pVoice. It's not quite completely free (it appears that you need to either purchase or create your own symbol library---well, unless you speak Dutch), but I would guess it's close enough.

hmmm free eh... nothing comes to mind.

you should check out a company called aroga though. they specialize in supplying software and hardware to clients with disabilities of one sort or another. maybe a good place to start.

Thanks you guy's .. I'm kinda busy right now but just tryin to help out.

I'll look at Pvoice and see if that will work.

I have a feeling that money is a big concern and thats why Free Software is needed.

My impression is that this is a legit request but you never know for sure.

I was contacted privately via the web and asked for help.

After some corraspondance .... My gut feeling is it's for real.

Here is the program that the little fella uses to comunicate with and uses it on his computer at school. I tried Google but came up empty handed. Anyone know about it? I guess the Mom is looking for help in setting it up.
