80s and would not change. I can't even fathom a childhood where I would rather stay indoors playing video games/surfing the web as opposed to leaving the house as soon as the sun came up and returning only when it was time to eat.

This. I had my share of video games in the 80s, but we were always out playing ball every day after school and we'd also take our Star Wars and GI Joe figures outside and build cities for them and play. Those were the days.

i noticed the 90 childhood never have anything to say but wouldnt change?
I feel like, if nothing else, being born in the early 80's put me in a good position to enter the workforce. graduated college after the shake-up from the .com bust had settled down and had several years to establish and entrench myself before the late 00's meltdown.

Born in 1986, so I grew up in the 90's.

I wouldn't change it either. I look back at the 70's and 80's and realize I would have really missed having a home computer at my disposal all through elementary school and onward, as well as a portable CD player, eventually DVDs, and just the general culture of the time. On the other hand, I look at kids growing up now and just shake my head. I thought I'd at least make it to 30-40 before feeling disdain for the younger generations, but either I was wrong, or they're just heading that far in the wrong direction.

I swear, if I walk by another couple of teenagers in a drama fight because "ZOMG you deleted me off of facebook!!111!111oneone" I'm going to break someone's teeth.
