Chiefvalue=Newegg?

Did Newegg buy Cheifvalue, or are they owned by the same co.? I just rec'd my 2nd order from Chiefvalue (They've been a fine co. to deal with for me), and there are two glossy newegg ads inside. Kinda weird, huh?

Such things have happened before, one example being bike parts retailer Performancebike buying Nashbar, and while under one owner, they have different products, different prices, etc.
