Thought I'd post this for people looking for a new case for a cheap price. Yes I understand this is TD we're talking about and this is my first actual order from them since I've been so reluctant by what I hear.

$19.97 and shipping, which for me was $14.34 to Philly, PA. Any other color is atleast $40 and up but who cares about color when its going to sit out of view 😀

Measures the same height (20.6 inches) as my Antec Plusview 1000AMG case, so its very likely the same case minus the window. Great case and for this price, I decided to pick one up for my raid server. Eight drives will fit in this baby nicely.

Anyone selling a Chieftech/Antec/ChenMing/Soyo/Elite Dragon case like this in black for the same $? Preferably in the full tower size though and with a window, and preferably not TD as the shipping + tax for me costs more than the case, which kills the deal.

i picked up on the black / silver front one for 19.99. Great case! Highly recomended. Love the hard drive housing that pops in and out in 2 seconds.

Very nice cases.... my order from TD for two of the burgundy Matrix cases actually arrived ahead of schedule (yeah, that has more to do with UPS than TD, but still), and I had no problems at all... no rebates is even better!

TD had the full-tower ATX in black, without window or front-panel USB/Firewire for $30 + ship last week.

I purchased one of these 5 days ago got the confirmation from TD but UPS tracking says Billing Information Received. Is anyone else having these problems? Did I get ripped or is there backup?? Has anyone even recieved one of these?

"Billing Information Recieved" means that UPS was contacted by TD, for requesting a shipment. It's the very first step, and means that UPS didn't even get their hands on the package yet from TD, it's almost like a package-shipment travel reservation, of sorts. Usually, about a day later or so, it should say something additional, which indicates that UPS has taken hold of the package, and it's in their hands now.

When I ordered a purple Chieftec Matrix ($33 shipped), it took less than 48 hours for them to get it to me. I ordered it around 10 pm on a Wednesday night and UPS delivered it sometime during the day on Friday. Of course, it should be noted that I'm less than 400 miles away from TD's Illinois location. I was surprised and impressed by how quickly they processed and shipped the order.

My order has already been typed up and I've been given tracking info.

Billing info received.

What this means (atleast for UPS) is that the shipper has done their report (a shipping log that the driver scans), the shipment information is sent to the UPS system. Since they don't have the package in their facilities yet, it will show up as "Billing Info Received" until they update it.

Another thing that could happen is that the shipper typed up the shipping label, but has failed to ship the product out. The UPS driver is supposed to be responsible for counting the number of packages they receive against the shipping report, but a friendly driver will let things slide. They'll likely get the package out in a day or two.
