I've got them right now, and I'm 25. It sucks. Started Friday with the fever, found the rash Saturday afternoon. Tuesday was the most miserable day of my life. It sucks. The urge to rub my whole body to a ragged bloody pulp is overwhelming at times. I have these damn things everywhere! my chest and back, I don't like to look at cuz it grosses me out the sheer number of these things. I've got them inside my ear, on my earlobes, all over my scalp, on my sac and penis, on my butt, on my hands and fingers, pretty much any open skin, and there's a pox really close by.

When I lay down, I can feel each individual one on my back kind of pressured, like a ballon being squeezed. They feel like they're all gonna pop.

Isla - take good care of him, slather him in calamine lotion, give him a little extra TLC cuz it is a miserable experience. Hang in there though

My wife can remember stuff from her crib.

I'm pretty foggy on everything past 3 months ago, and I mean everything.
 
i got all itchy from this thread.

anyways i got it when i was in third grade. got to take a week off! woohoo!

my sister had it first and then spread it among the rest of us. my poor mom - four kids with the pox at the same time. at least it was over with when we were all young. my sister was like... 3? my youngest brother was 2. talk about ouch factor. luckily most of the scars are gone now. 🙂
 
Who remembers having chicken pox?

hehe.. well in turkey I had the chicken pox when I was 5. I remember wearing a veil under my chin and tied above my head 😱 Worst memory EVER!!

Edit: My Mother having my circumsition filmed on tape when I was 7 and showing it off to my village.. Worst experience ever 😱

Chicken pox vaccine??? Poppy-cock!!! I remember having it as a little kid. I got it the old fashioned way. I EARNED IT!! I still had to walk 7 miles to school in the snow... BAREFOOTED.... uphill both ways!
