Chick with math issues

I tried few times to explain her that 0.1 and 0.01 are different numbers. She is senior in college, of course humanities. She even has a decent GPA.

Anyway, she writes me how she thinks coil of 100 stamps should be $3.90. Yes, she bought 100 stamps thinking it will be $3,90, but she paid $39 and didn't look at the bill 😀. So she tells me that "my calculator says it is $39.00 but I think it is wrong" and "it is not fair for stamps to be so expensive"

There is no way she can be this dumb. Does she think a GPA of 0.4 and 4.0 are the same?

Funny with you calling her dumb when the issue would be between 0.04 and 0.4.

no fvckin kidding, but that wouldn't work in my "joke".

If this "friend" of yours is by chance majoring in something related to finance, please tell me which institution employs her upon graduation. I see money in my future.

She works for Verizon doesn't she.

No. she works for one big financial corporation in USA 😀

double shens or you are blowing this way out of proportion. I pretty much refuse to believe this based on the fact that 99.99999999% of people at the College Grad level who work for a Financial Corp - would go, "oops - math mistake."

I have a friend who was an electrical engineering major. He came across a chick who was in a bunch of his classes but thought that AC and DC were the same thing. He found out later that she was the valedictorian.
