Come on guys... bring out your sensitive sides. :)

I just saw Sweet November and thought it was a very good movie. Gonna buy it on DVD.

What are some movies that you liked that were classified as "Chick flicks"?

<< i like most chick flicks, as long as they're hot. >>

He's right...as long as they throw us guys a bone (i.e. lingerie pillow fight, random girl walking around topless) then I can sit through two hours of giberrish

I liked:

High Fidelity
Grosse Pointe Blank

There's another one, on the tip of my tongue, but I can't think of it right now . . ..

<< Pretty Woman
Viper GTS

Dear God, no! That's is the most contrived, PCish movie. A successful businessman is not separated by mere money from a prostitute. It's the whole "The Rain in Spain falls Mainly in the Plain" plot all over again. I can't think of the name of that play. The play is about a wager where one gentleman thinks that a commoner is only a commoner because of her cockney accent, and the other believes that the commoner status is fixed at birth.

Of couse, since it *is* an entertaining, feel-good play, the woman finally is trained to speak proper English and magically attains a higher status.

Anyway, Pretty Woman just slays me. I watched in horror as my younger step-sister practically drooled in rapt attention to that disgusting movie, as if she too could be pulled out of her white-trashiness simply by an infusion of money and romance.

Okay, now my selection: Regarding Henry with Harrison Ford. It's a tear-jerking drama, but it is very, very well acted.

Um, what is considered a chick flick? If it's something like pretty women, I don't MIND watching them but I wouldn't buy them. If you are talking about stupid movies that some girls only want to see because their favorite hunk is in it, then no, I don't like any of that filth.
