Chick-fil-a vs Wendy's twitter fight

I mean, not even taking other factors into account I'd rather go to Wendy's. I went to chicken filet in Atlanta and was not impressed. The Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich is a good or better than what I had from chicken filet plus I can get a chocolate frosty if I so desire.

Add in what my money goes to support outside of the food concerns and I see no reason to ever visit a chicken filet.

CFA is pretty meh. Their stuff's alright, but I don't get the acclaim they receive. Add in long lines and religious nonsense, I can find something I like better close by.

I walked into the ChurchFillet place once. I stood there and looked at the menu board. Didn't see anything that caught my attention, other than the shy high prices compared to everywhere else at the time ... this was in the early 00s'.

I left and have never been back.

I haven't been to a Wormy's in well over 10 years and don't expect I'll ever be again.

Now, what was the question?

I tried to dance around it, but this is not a company I will patronize. Same with the hobby place, which kind of annoys me since they had some things I could use.

Thank you. And I'd have to be pretty desperate even if they were across the street.

Have one acroess next to work, cars lined up outside for their orders. Haven't been inside one since Jan 2017. Not impressed with the food/menu.

Wendy's is yellow now so either this is old if real, or it's fake. But based on their Twitter in general they can be a little witty I can totally see this being real lol.

Their bio is pretty funny too: "We like our tweets the way we like our fries: hot, crispy, and better than anyone expects from a fast food restaurant."

I usually prefer burgers, but chick fil a does have really good lemonade, at least the one I went to. I don't go there often though, I wonder how their sweet tea is. Hmm, I wonder if the last time I went to one, I was in TX for Quakecon. Would have been 2019 or earlier. Been too long since Quakecon :C

Twitter fighting Popeyes backfired badly for Chick-Fil-A.

"Y'all good?"

My buddy called it...the new Popeye's Chicken Sandwich was amazing when it launched, but he predicted the attenuation effect would happen, where they would drop the quality over time once people got hooked (cutting the product to grow the bottom line!), and by golly, he was right! It's still a GOOD sandwich, and imo still the best fast-food fried-chicken sandwich on the market, but it's no longer a FABULOUSLY GREAT fast-food chicken sandwich like it was at launch. I had a customer by a Popeye's & would hit that place up every. single. week. lol!

I got brave & tried their frozen lemonade ice cream thing...I was surprised at how dang good it was! I wouldn't have thought that soft-serve vanilla would have paired well with lemonade, but it was VERY refreshing!

I don't know what it is about Wendy's food, but I never feel very good after I eat it. Same thing happens to me with Subway. No problems with other fast-food chains tho, I should probably look at the ingredients & figure it out what bothers me about both of those chains lol.

Man I have some bad news for you...

That article seems disingenuous to me. It's comparing CFA's donation history with a passing grade from the HRC. A company only having a score of 55 on the HRC's Corporate Equality Index isn't quite the same, IMO.
