Uh, yep. Granted I would not be in that scenario because I hate heights and would not be standing/sitting on the glass, but still. 😱

This coating does not affect the structural integrity of The Ledge in any way. Occasionally, the coating will crack, as it is designed to in order to protect the surface of the glass.

In other words, a non-story blown up by news sites desperate to generate page views.

Even after 5 years living in Chicago, I still never visited the Sears Tower. Hancock is where it's at, anyway.
