ah, the biannual chicago meet thread where nobody ends up doing anything. people in the suburbs won't drive to the city and people in the city won't drive to the suburbs. hell, people on the south side won't even drive to the north side.

I only said Thursday because those places get to be a zoo Friday and Saturday, and Cody's is a great Thursday night hangout. I'm up for pretty much any night.

I was just being decisive. :p

Pick another time/place and I'll show up there.

we're all a bunch of lazy, indecisive bastages here in Chicago
All right then, everyone show up at Cody's Thursday night. We'll sit out back. The weather will be nice, and the beer cold.

<-- Not going to show up unless there's actually interest.
North Side? No thanks :p

Lakeview is not that far north. I don't really consider it North Side unless it's north of Irving Park, like where I live.

Anyway, I have band practices Thursday nights in Bridgeport, but after I may show up, unless I get roped into the post-practice pint at Puffer's.

What kind of music do you play?
Need a guitarist? :D

How bout here: Text

It is four blocks from the Red Line at Grand and also four blocks from the Brown line at the Mart. Lots of parking structures too. Easy access.

I've been to O'Leary's, it's a nice little spot which is also a short walk from the Blue Frog, which has excellent karaoke. I went to both venues for my birthday.
