i liked chicago code. wasnt great, but better than most of the dramas out there.

i didnt have any problem with Jennifer Beals, her acting was fine. The main problem is she looks too good/pretty for her age (47). Rachel Ticotin on L&OLA is only a few years older but looks like what most people would expect a police commander to look like(more wrinkles, creases, sag).

They did a lot of shuffling of the episode order to capitalize on the pilot, not sure how it affected the ratings/plot development.

FOX sucks. Cancel good shows and keep American Idol?

Bottom line = American Idol = higher rating = more money.

Other shows = lower rating = less money.

Nothing to do with quality of the show(s).

That sucks to hear. I enjoy watching Chicago Code. This is why I hate watching TV at times. Especially new shows in their first season.

I really like the theme to the show. Who sings it?

I think everyone wanted The Wire in Chicago. lol--so, so, so far from that.

That's exactly what I wanted when I watched the first few episodew. I was truly dissappointed when the show turned out to be shit.

her forced "Chicago accent" was revoltingly bad.

she should have dropped it altogether.

Or The Shield... since they were from the same writer (Shawn Ryan).

The Chicago Code was doomed from the start simply by being on network TV. The show needed to be edgier, and instead it was boring as hell.

The show was ok, honestly nothing special though. And I could kick that idiot woman in the snatch for her ridiculous accent. 'Sarry' isn't a word, bitch.

It was meh.

Glad I only watched the first two eps.

Deleted the rest of the episodes from the DVR when I read this thread that it was cancelled.

So thanks for that!

Seeing as how they canceled Lonestar...I'm not surprised.

Chicago Code started out meh, but it has picked up a lot over the past month. I've actually been looking forward to it.

Breakout Kings will probably be the next cop show to get the axe, although it's on A&E. such a stupid premise for a show, first episode was enough to let me know how bad the idea was.

Yep I agree. I watched just enough to see the Prison Break/T Bag tie-in episode, and I gave up after that. The show is stupidly corny...I couldn't take it anymore.

I liked it when they were focusing on the corruption. Seemed to pick up a couple weeks ago. One of the very few shows I watch but it wasn't great. I only watched cuz it was from The Shield creator and I figured it'd get better.

On the other hand, I see CBS has yet another shitty Canadian cop show for the summer..."Flashpoint." I watched the episode last week...weak plot, poorly written script, lousy dialogue, mediocre acting.

Reminds me of "Rookie Blue" last year.

that show is on like season 3 or something.

I watched a few episodes, and thought it moved to slow

Chicago Code had so much potential and they fucking wasted it. Not surprised it was canceled at all.

That is how Fox works... Funny how conversely they actually support and encourage imagination and controversy on their News Network.

meh...maybe so...I'd never seen it. Must be the start of the new season or something. Definitely not going to be on my "must watch" list.
