Mmmm ... beer.

I live out west in Streamwood, and I generally don't venture east past O'haire unless theres a good concert downtown. (I haven't been down there for at least a year or so, I hate the traffic, and I hate when parking costs money or spaces are hard to find.)

Well do you have a Metra station near you? This would be in distance of the L so it's convienent for everyone and they dont have to drive.

The Hanover Park Metra station on lake street is about 1 or 2 miles from me.

Also, in response to "Between Palatine and Buffalo Grove (north west subs)" .... I'm usually up in Wheeling at least a couple times per month (My Mother lives there), and I am usually in Palatine a few times per month as well (A few of my buddies from work live there, and as of next week, my sister and brother in law are moving there too ....)

Here in Streamwood, there are a few bars, but nothing really great, Though I generally keep a decent liquor supply on hand here.

EDIT: Also, Monday through Friday, every week, I work in Mount Prospect, which is about 15 to 30 minutes SE of Buffalo grove/Palatine .. depending upon traffic.

Hahaha, I live techincally in Prospect Heights, so yeah I know that area well.

In response to someone, might be easier to do this downtown one afternoon, maybe meet for lunch and get some brews, nothing hardcore unless you guys are up for it 😛

Kind of a central place for everyone to meet.

That would be an awesome ATOT meet 🙂

that not a bad idea 🙂 ....but seriously that vacinity is kinda central for the people in the burbs or we can do it downtown

Isn't Fry's an electronics store? We can't drink there can we? 😛

There's a "Taylor Street brewing company" East on Butterfield (56) from there.

Good food and numerous microbrews...

~~edit

Actually it's Taylor Brewing Company

and it's NOWHERE close to a train station.

Sh1t... well how about this? I come to Chicago, you buy a 12-pack of something, and we kick it at your pad, then I can't get busted for being underage.

Downtown Chicago here.

Been to the Fry's a couple of times. 🙂

You MUST try Bob Chinn's crabhouse while you're here. It's not far from Buffalo Grove
