my spacebar keeps getting stuck :/
a few weeks back i upgraded to a set of pbt caps, bough from ebay. great caps and cheap too.
but if i press the space bar too close to the right edge (under the , key)it gets stuck. the bar itself is not getting stuck (the actual plastic part of the keycap, let's call it the shell); what happens is that one of the tiny white plastic pips which are underneath the bar and which hold the metal springs/balancers comes halfway loose - the left hand one. basically when i press the spacebar on the right, it acts as a lever and pulls the pip out.
this thing here:
what do you guys suggest?
if i glue the pip into place, it should solve the problem.. butif that pip ever breaks, i'm gonna need a whole new set of caps.
any advice?
i don't actually know if one of the pips is loose, or if the bar's ...grooves? things-that-hold-the-pips are too wide.
no chance of getting a spare one from the vendor, although in desperation i might try that as well.
(for whatever it's worth, i love this PBT set)
