Cherry Coke Zero

I've been drinking coke zero ever since it was available at my local grocery store. It wasn't as good as regular coke. But it was close enough since it had zero calories. Every time I'd pick up a case from the store, I'd tell my wife "I can't wait until they make cherry coke zero." Well, I was reading the weekly ads in the paper this weekend and I saw coke zero was on sale at target and the fine print said "including cherry coke zero, new at Target." I was excited, so first thing Sunday morning I drove to Target (I had to go to Home Depot anyways and they share a parking lot) and picked up 4 12-packs for $11.

First impression...it was awesome! It tasted more like regular cherry coke than coke zero tastes like regular coke. This is definitely my new drink of choice (except for beer). I just wish more places had coke zero/cherry coke zero in a fountain dispenser. I've only had fountain coke zero once and that was at a Sam's club in Canton, OH...it's even better out of a fountain than it is out of a can.

well I definitely don't think coke zero tastes anything close to normal coke, however it's still good. i saw the commercial for this cherry coke zero but didn't see it in the store yesterday when I went shopping so I got normal diet cherry coke. i'll have to keep an eye out 🙂

Coke Zero is better than diet coke, and it's somewhat close to regular...but it's still no contest. Cherry Coke is okay too.

I can't stand Coke Zero, though I recently discovered Sprite Zero is pretty good so I'm willing to give Cherry Coke Zero a shot.

Coke > Diet Coke > Coke Zero

Coke is the s#it, but it's addicting and makes me fat
Diet Coke is an acquired taste, but is still addicting
Coke Zero tastes nothing like either one and just doesn't cut it

Diet DP is my favorite diet drink. I may give Cherry Coke Zero a try since I don't mind Diet Cherry Coke. I'm still on my water kick for now (w/ no soft drinks) so we'll see how long it lasts before I give in and crack open a soda.

its weird, i can'tr stand regular coke but i like cherry coke. cherry pepsi is better though.

That's because Diet Coke was meant to be a diet cola and not a diet version of Coke. Coke Zero was made to taste like Coke, but without the calories.


Cherry Coke Zero tastes even closer to the original. I think it tastes great.
