Not that I like Cheney (and I probably dislike him more than Mr. Bush) but I would hate to live under the microscope like politicians do. Sometimes, maybe a gentle f-enheimer is needed. We only get one side of the story in the article.

Firefox is not letting me link with Fusetalk...:( Or maybe not. Gads, I'm having nothing but problems with Firefox .9 and Fusetalk...

Cheney is losing his temper. Do we really want this man as the VP or the President of the Senate? One bad bike ride or a pretzel for Bush and he could have his finger on the nuclear button, as opposed to having his hand on Bush's finger, which is in turn on the nuclear button :D

Who cares? I think the government should be more entertaining.

Using profanity on the Senate floor while the Senate is session is against the rules. But the Senate was technically not in session at the time and the normal rules did not apply, a Senate official said.

Boring. How about we arm every Senator with a sword? That would be interesting to watch. We can toss in some unicycles, monkeys (ebola infested optional), lions, and such for more entertainment. It'll be like a circus.

agreed. we in america are deprived compared to legislative bodies in other countries. I saw a sweet video of legislators throwing chairs (and punches) in south korea's parliament. Also, in Japan, the upper house has largely ceremonial duties (apart from budget approval). It's actually important for parties to have sumo wrestlers as representatives for the purpose of maintaining control of the microphone and other intimidation as necessary.

I bet Leahy would bite an ear, given the right circumstance...

:)

After being falsely accused by the democrats in their election year frenzy time after time after time, I'd get a little testy with those SOB's also.

No Kerry's....

Truth be told, I think all politicians are cut from the same cloth.

Sorry, MonstaThrilla, while I harbor no ill feelings, I'm just not into your alternative life-style and therefore would not be interested in you nor would I be interested in changing my body to suit your little games.

I am not personally offfended by swearing, and think it would make all politics more interesting (especially international) if politicians swore regularly.

such a waste of perfectly good legislative immunity for them not to malign others on the senate/house floor...
